A perfect time to bring the classic 007 back before the brand new James Bond adventure will arrive with Quantum of Solace. We posted ‘Dr. No’ a while back with the same 720p rip. Now group HANGOVER brings ‘For Your Eyes Only’. Hold on because HANGOVER didn’t only release this one but also two other Bond classics. Sit back and enjoy the ride!

A British spy-ship, the St. Georges, accidently hits a mine and sinks near a Warsaw Pact country. On aboard is ATAC, a communications device that could order Western subs to attack friendly areas. 007 is sent to recover the ATAC and the Russians, interested in getting ATAC, send a message to their local “contact”. Bond’s investigations leads to Greece and he meets Melina Havelock, out for revenge, as the “Contact” has had her parents murdered. Bond also meets Aristotle Kristatos and Milos Colombo (known as “The Dove”) and evidence leads that one of them is the Russian’s “Contact” but both accuses the other. Melina and Bond sets out to recover the ATAC and not only goes up against the “Contract” but also against Bibi, a young ice-skater, who has a major crush on 007…

I plan to watch both hV’s releases, “Kidulthood” & “Alduthood” this weekend, maybe you can also give them a try.

poster Despite the fact that in 2008 this Bond movie celebrated its 45 year anniversary, just like fine wine it ages to become better. After a quick pit-stop in Roger Moore’s era we’re back in the land of original and still stubborn Sir Sean. Guys and gals, please bear in mind the fact that this has been remastered in HD, not filmed in it so don’t expect perfection, but, having taken a quick peek, I can safely say that the treatment it got is nothing short of exemplary…

Review
Directed with consummate skill by Terence Young, the second James Bond spy thriller is considered by many fans to be the best of them all. Certainly Sean Connery was never better as the dashing Agent 007, whose latest mission takes him to Istanbul to retrieve a top-secret Russian decoding machine. His efforts are thwarted when he gets romantically distracted by a sexy Russian double agent (Daniela Bianchi), and is tracked by a lovely assassin (Lotte Lenya) with switchblade shoes, and by a crazed killer (Robert Shaw), who clashes with Bond during the film’s dazzling climax aboard the Orient Express. From Russia with Love is classic James Bond, before the gadgets, pyrotechnics, and Roger Moore steered the movies away from the more realistic tone of the books by Ian Fleming.

There was a VHS screener of Journey To The Center Of The Earth released about a month or so ago AND then the DVDrip pre’d a few days ago by PUKKA. Here is the 720p BluRay rip thanks to iNFAMOUS. Enjoy. I don’t think ill be watching this with the pretty average reviews it’s getting.

During a scientific expedition in Iceland, visionary scientist Trevor Anderson (Brendan Fraser), his nephew Sean (Josh Hutcherson) and their beautiful local guide, Hannah (Anita Briem), are unexpectedly trapped in a cave from which their only escape is to go deeper and deeper into the depths of the Earth. Traveling through never-before-seen worlds, the trio comes face-to-face with surreal and unimaginable creatures–including man-eating plants, giant flying piranha, glow birds and terrifying dinosaurs from days past. The explorers soon realize that as volcanic activity increases around them, they must find a way back to the earth’s surface before it is too late.

poster Thank you Vantec, you’re absolutely correct and here is the first one of them. Sir Roger Moore portraying James Bond in one of his total of seven appearances. Bond’s adventures have spanned nearly half a century and getting them in HD should be a must for every cinematic connoisseur. I must admit that Sir Rog isn’t my first draft pick, so to speak, but Jane Seymour, before she aged, definitely sweetens things up. By all means grab this release…

Review
Roger Moore was introduced as James Bond in this 1973 action movie featuring secret agent 007. More self-consciously suave and formal than predecessor Sean Connery, he immediately reestablished Bond as an uncomplicated and wooden fellow for the feel-good ’70s. This film also marks a deviation from the more character-driven stories of the Connery years, a deliberate shift to plastic action (multiple chases, bravura stunts) that made the franchise more of a comic book or machine. If that’s not depressing enough, there’s even a good British director on board, Guy Hamilton (Force 10 from Navarone). The story finds Bond taking on an international drug dealer (Yaphet Kotto), and while that may be superficially relevant, it isn’t exactly the same as fighting supervillains on the order of Goldfinger.

“Standard Operating Procedure” is a 2008 documentary film which explores the events surrounding the Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse. This movie contains a very serious topic. PLOT: An examination of the unintended consequences of the Iraqi war with a focus on events at Abu Ghraib prison which began to appear in global media in 2004. The prison quickly became notorious for the photos of the abuse and torture of terror suspects by military men and women.

I watched this when it came out around two years ago. I didn’t like it as much, it stars The Rock and Xzibit. Enjoy the higest quality release ever for this movie!

Gridiron Gang is a 2006 film starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Xzibit, L. Scott Caldwell, and Kevin Dunn. It was filmed in California at Camp Kilpatrick, a Los Angeles County Probation Department facility. It is loosely based on the true story of the Kilpatrick Mustangs during the 1990 season, the very first in which they played eleven man football. Kilpatrick is a facility located in Malibu, California for juvenile delinquents with multiple offenses, such as gang violence. The overall moral is that even though people deal with difficulties in their lives, these young teenagers overcome their fears and frustrations using self-discipline and learn to leave their problems on the football field.

In the Kilpatrick juvenile detention center, the supervisor and former football player Sean Porter sees the lack of discipline, self-esteem, union and perspective in the teenage interns and proposes to prepare a football team to play in one league. He is supported by his superiors and his successful experience changes the lives of many young kids.
